''Plasma Astrophysics''. In collaboration with members of this
research group the candidate will set up a vigorous and innovative
research programme. The research is mainly concerned with plasmas
in the sun, the solar wind, the heliosphere and Space Weather. The
candidate must have research expertise in the mathematical models
of fluid dynamics and Magnetohydrodynamics and/or plasma kinetic
theory. He/she must introduce new expertise in one or more
subfields of mathematical modelling of fluids and plasmas.
