Postdoctoral Research Position;
University of California at Berkeley:
Department of Astronomy & Space Science Lab.

Applications are invited for a full-time postdoctoral research
appointment with CIPS (Center for Integrative Planetary Science) in
the Department of Astronomy and the Space Science Laboratory at the
University of California at Berkeley.  Salary $38,652 - $46,056.
Start date is negotiable (preferred Fall 2004).  The duration of the
position is for 2 years, with a possible renewal for a third year and
contingent on funding and eligibility for employment in U.S.A.  The
Successful applicant will work in the field of Planetary Science
(observational) and instrument development (for spacecraft).  Required
qualifications: a Ph.D. in Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry or
Geophysics. Preferred: experience in (infrared) instrumentation, data
reduction and analysis.
