Dear Professor Turatto,

I am writing to ask for your help in encouraging exceptional recent Ph.D.
recipients to apply for the 2005 Chamberlain Fellow in experimental High
Energy Physics and Cosmology.  The Chamberlain Fellowship is offered by the
Physics Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, in honor of Berkeley
Nobelist and LBNL scientist Owen Chamberlain. It is a 3-year position, with
two years of extension possible upon review.  Incoming Chamberlain Fellows
may choose to participate in any aspect of the Physics Division's research
program, described at http://www-physics.lbl.gov .  In addition to his or
her salary, a Chamberlain Fellow also receives a $5,000 annual research
supplement.  For additional information, including how to apply, please go
to http://www-physics.lbl.gov/physdiv/Chamberlain_fellowship .  Please note
that applications must be received no later than October 25, 2004.   If you
know of any suitable candidates, I would be grateful if you could bring this
