Announcement of a post-doc position at the Physics Dept., University
Roma Tre on
"Obscuration and reprocessing in the cosmic history of AGN"
A 18 months post-doc position is available at the Physics Dept., University
Roma Tre (see http://www.fis.uniroma3.it/). The position is to work
within a project, financed by the Italian Ministry for Scientific
Research (MURST), with the title "Obscuration and reprocessing in the
cosmic history of AGN". The project is a joint effort by several
institution: Physics Dept., University Roma Tre; Rome Observatory;
Arcetri Observatory; Brera Observatory; Bologna Observatory and
Padova Observatory. The aim of the project is to study, from both
a theoretical and observational point of view, and with a multiwavelength
approach, the physics and evolution of obscured AGN, and their relation
with the Cosmic Backgrounds and the formation of galaxies.
The recipient is expected to start working early in 2001. The gross salary
is 50 ML (millions of italian lire; 1 EURO: 1937 ITL) for the whole period.
Taxation should be around 30%.
