Postdoctoral position at IAP (Paris) : Planck

     The Planck team at the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris plan to
   recruit a post-doctoral fellow for a period of at least two years,
   starting Autumn 2006 (or earlier) in preparation for the scientific
   exploitation of the forthcoming Planck data.

     The postdoc recruited will work on projects relating to departures
   from gaussianity and/or isotropy in the microwave background;
   e.g. their generation mechanisms (sources of non-gaussianity in the
   early universe, weak lensing effects on the CMB, astrophysical
   foregrounds residuals, systematic effects from the instrument or the
   data analysis methods), and the design and validation of appropriate
   statistical estimators.

     Expertise in CMB data analysis or theory, as well as good
   statistical knowledge will be particularly appreciated.
