POSTDOC GRANT IN OPTICAL INTERFEROMETRY
In the context of the studies for the second generation optical VLTI
instrument VITRUV the Center for Astrophysics of the University of
Porto (CAUP) accepts applications for one Postdoc grant in the field
of OPTICAL INTERFEROMETRY.
The grant has a duration of one year, start in January 2006. The
monthly net allowance is 1495 euros.
The grant can be extended up to three years. In the extended period
applicants are expected to contribute to the astrophysical
exploitation of existing optical interferometers.
Applicants should send:
* the curriculum vitae
* the name, address and email of three referees
* a research project proposal
Applications will be received from 16 November to 10 December 2005.
