Bonjour,

Cordialement

   Stéphane Fay

  Dear Researchers,

The European Commission has adopted a European Charter for Researchers and a
Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers on March 2005. These
documents are key elements in the EU policy to make research an attractive
career, which is a vital feature of its strategy to stimulate economic and
employment growth. The Charter and Code of Conduct will give individual
researchers the same rights and obligations wherever they may work throughout
the EU. This should help counter the fact that research careers in Europe are
fragmented at local, regional, national or sectoral level, and allow Europe to
make the most of its scientific potential.

These documents (translated in all the European languages) can
be found at the following link:

http://europa.eu.int/eracareers/index_en.cfm?l1=15&CFID=400874&CFTOKEN=92ab73dbef6f3de5-ED5DBF69-9814-FDDD-9549505F2FA64D24

You can also send your feedback using a form that is activated when you select
  "Post your feedback".

We recommend to read carefully these documents before the start of Marie Curie
conference because many speakers will make clear references to the Charter and
to the Code. This will allow you to better understand the oral presentations
  and the debates.

The final version of the conference programme can be found at the following
  link: http://ifc.cnr.it/mariecurie/programme.html

I wish you all the best for your research career!

  Kind Regards
  Livio Stefanelli
  (Conference Chairman)
