Postdoctoral Researcher
Supernovae and Dark Energy
Harvard University

We seek a postdoctoral researcher to contribute
to ongoing observational programs in Arizona and Chile
aimed at understanding supernova explosions and
exploiting them to learn the nature of the dark
energy.  The successful applicant will also have
opportunities to engage in independent research related to
supernovae and their application to cosmology using the
extensive facilities of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for
Astrophysics. This position is most suitable for a recent
Astronomy or Physics Ph.D. with experience in observational
optical and infrared astronomy.  This 1 year appointment could
begin as early as February 2005 and, pending grant renewal,
would ordinarily extend for a total of three years.
