[obsdoc] [Fwd: Vacancies at the Institute of Astronomy, K.U.Leuven, Belgium] Hervé Wozniak

Dear Colleague,

Could you make the following vacancy information available to interested parties
at your institute?

Cheers,

Bart

                                     VACANCIES

In 2007 the Far Infrared Space Telescope (FIRST) will be launched, one of ESA's
Cornerstone Missions in the Horizons 2000 programme. The satellite is equipped
with a
3.5m telescope and three advanced far-infrared and submillimeter instruments.
The
Photoconductor Array Camera and Spectrometer (PACS) instrument is developed and
built by an international consortium with contributions from Germany, Belgium,
France,
Italy, Spain and Austria. The Institute of Astronomy at the K.U.Leuven
participates in the
Instrument Control Center (ICC) of the PACS instrument. This team is responsible
for the
in-orbit calibration and the operations of the instrument.

The Institute of Astronomy presently has three vacancies for the Instrument
Control
Center of the PACS instrument. We are looking for a calibration scientist, an
instrument scientist and a data analysis scientist.
